Lots of people like to re-live their "glory days of raiding" by killing old bosses. We like to re-live the "glory days of raiding" by firstly blaming Whargoul and then by arguing which end of a dragon the poop comes out of. Srsly.
The fun part is that the above is actually all true. To start the night off we met up with the Lich King for drinks, and by "met up with" I mean "brushed up against and farted loudly." Yep, classy. Anyhow he showed us some nice caves to go spelunking in, where we found some nice new purply clothes that had been superglued to a big beetle. Raid : "Hey hold still, we're just trying to clean this crap off of you." Bug : "PUNK ROCK!" Raid : "Didn't we already kill you for the daily this week? DOUBLE BADGES!" Bug : "I'm 'working as intended.'" The best part though was when Whargoul said "ONLY TANKS GET HEALS" and the raid wiped. Then we told him how the fight ACTUALLY worked and it went a little like this : Whargoul : Ohhhhh..... Raid : /blame
Note the two losers in front with nothing better to do on Tuesdays & Thursdays than attempt to herd cats. Seriously, get a life guys. Also worthy of note is Tryan, the MT who died when Anub was at 1%. This is important later. Also let me say that Rogue tanking is OP.
With the night only half over, we decided to go punch another loot bag in the mommy & daddy button. Raid : "I kinda miss getting my ass kicked by Onyxia back when she was hard." Onyxia : "I can arrange some nostalgia if you like." Raid : "HELL YES!" Forgetful raider "I fergetted my Ony key in teh bankk ololzorz."
Up front we have Auriga demonstrating how to stand in the fire, and our MT Tryan who had a LEGENDARY death when she was at 1%. Because of that he couldn't figure out which end of the dragon was which. I can't blame him though - he gets hit in the head a LOT. Give the guy a break.
Big night for the OES & Friends raid group. Now if we can just keep the MT up through the last 1% of the fight we'll be in good shape. And I didn't even make a "raid kills bugs dead" joke in there! GO ME! Looking forward to new elevators to fall off of and new fires to stand in! |
